Er gab uns den Schl\u00fcssel zu unserer Hobbit-H\u00f6hle und zeigte uns den Weg.&nbsp;&nbsp;Es war sch\u00f6n mal wieder eine saubere, nicht sandige und nicht nach fremden Menschen riechende Unterkunft zu haben. Hier wollten wir die n\u00e4chsten 3 N\u00e4chte unsere Akkus aufladen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/glowing-firefly.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/IMG_1392.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach ein paar Minuten entdeckten wir einen kleinen Skorpion am Vorhang, der uns absolut verunsicherte. Wie sollten wir mit dieser Situation umgehen, ignorieren wir das Tierchen? (Es war so klein, wir h\u00e4tten es ja gar nicht entdecken m\u00fcssen.) Gehen wir zum Hostelpersonal? W\u00fcrden wir uns blamieren, weil wir um Hilfe bitten? Tabea meinte schlie\u00dflich, je kleiner ein Skorpion ist desto giftiger ist er. Anna recherchierte kurz und gemeinsam beschlossen wir einfach zu fragen. Tabea behielt den Skorpion im Auge und Anna ging zur Rezeption. Dort checkte gerade jemand ein, deshalb fragte Anna einen Mitarbeiter des Hostels ob er Englisch spricht. Er sch\u00fcttelte den Kopf, nur Spanisch. Anna zeigte ihm trotzdem das Foto und fragte ob das Tier gef\u00e4hrlich sei. Der Mann sprang sofort vom Sofa auf, \u201cS\u00ed danger\u201d, antwortete er. Danach konnten wir uns endlich und zum ersten Mal bei diesem Trip eine hei\u00dfe Dusche g\u00f6nnen. Es dauerte nicht lange bis wir anschlie\u00dfend tief und fest schliefen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am n\u00e4chsten Tag tranken wir einen Kaffee und genossen die Aussicht. Wir beobachteten einen Mitarbeiter dabei wie er tote Fische aus dem Teich zog und in den M\u00fclleimer warf. Was es wohl damit auf sich hatte\u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div Es regnete und uns war nach einer Pause, weshalb wir entschieden heute nicht mehr das Hostel zu verlassen. Stattdessen legten wir in unserem Zimmer eine Yoga Session ein. Dabei fiel uns auf wie viel Wasser es durch den Boden in die Dielen des Zimmers dr\u00fcckte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir relaxten den ganzen Tag und g\u00f6nnten uns am Abend noch einen Cocktail an der Bar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am folgenden Morgen planten wir um 8 Uhr mit einem Taxi das Hostel zu verlassen und anschlie\u00dfend die \u201cLost Waterfall\u201d-Wanderung zu machen. Unsere K\u00f6rper entschieden sich jedoch gegen unser Vorhaben und wir verschliefen. Da wir am Nachmittag eine Tour auf einer Kaffeefarm gebucht hatten, konnten wir die geplante Wanderung zeitlich nicht mehr schaffen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"2160\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 3840 \/ 2160;\" width=\"3840\" controls src=\"https:\/\/glowing-firefly.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/IMG_1434.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir entschieden uns stattdessen f\u00fcr den Pipeline-Trail. Es regnete wieder, weshalb wir unsere Regenjacken schnappten bevor wir losgingen. Wir brauchten 1,5 Stunden f\u00fcr den Trail, der auf 2,5 Stunden angesetzt war. Wir hofften darauf mal einen Affen oder ein Faultier zu sehen. Zu beginn erz\u00e4hlte sie uns wie die Farm, wie wir sie heute sehn entstanden ist. Ein Californier, der bereits in Rente war kaufte die Farm nach einem wirtschaftlichen Sturz der Kaffeepreise. Er verbrachte seine Freizeit damit alles \u00fcber den Kaffeeanbau zu lernen. Die Farm war sehr klein und kooperiert mit einigen Farmen in der Umgebung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sie bepflanzten und bewirtschafteten die Farm nach dem Konzept der Permakultur und anhand der Mondphasen. So mit gab es auf der Farm nicht nur Kaffee sondern auch Avocados, Papayas, Limetten und vieles Mehr. Beim Bewirtschaften nach Permakultur werden keine Chemikalien verwendet, die Schale der Kaffeefrucht ist somit unbehandelt, weshalb sie als \u201cCascara\u201d-Tee genie\u00dfbar ist. Einige verdienen sich zus\u00e4tzlich etwas Geld durch eigene H\u00fchner. Durch den Direct Trade ist es der Farm m\u00f6glich die Einnahmen direkt zu erhalten und den Arbeitern der Farm ein gutes Leben zu erm\u00f6glichen.&nbsp;Die Farm Cafes de la Luna hat einen Direkt-Trade Partner in D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-3e41869c wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/roesterei-vier.de\/shop\/kaffee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"https:\/\/roesterei-vier.de\/shop\/kaffee\/ noopener\">Zum Direct-TRade Shop<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auf dieser Farm werden nur die roten, reifen Kaffeekirschen gepfl\u00fcckt. Bei vielen kommerziellen Farmen, die Masse produzieren um sich \u00fcber wasser zu halten, wird nicht auf die Reife der Kirsche geachtet. Nach einigen Wochen werden die Schalen entfernt und die Bohnen lagern bis zur R\u00f6stung ein. Wir bekamen Filterkaffee medium roast und dark roast zum Probieren. Medium roast war wirklich verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig s\u00fc\u00df, aber auch wirklich lecker. Der dark roast \u00e4hnelte dem Kaffee, den man bei uns in Deutschland vorgesetzt bekommt.
